Kylie Jiwon Hwang

Kylie Jiwon Hwang is  currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford Graduate School of Business. She received her PhD in Management from Columbia Business School.

Her research interests lie in the area of entrepreneurship, discrimination, and racial inequality. Her dissertation examines: Entrepreneurship as a way to overcome labor market discrimination, focusing on formerly incarcerated individuals in the United States, and was recognized with the 2021 William H. Newman Best Dissertation Paper Award from the Academy of Management and the 2018 Kauffman Knowledge Challenge Grant.
